It didn’t take too long for a timeless home on Lake Pickett to sell.
Sold for $6.7 million, the home on Chuluota Rd sold close to the listing price of $6.795 million after being on the market for just 48 days.
“It was a spectacular property, and we had a bit of interest, and it was beautiful. So for the right person, it makes perfect sense,” said listing agent Jessica Estrada with Keller Williams Advantage III Realty.
Built in 2016 by sellers Bruce and Dena Wemple with the help of architect Dan DeLong and Bressler Custom Homes, Estrada told GrowthSpotter the 7,521-square-foot home was built with care, featuring a unique design and upgrades.
“The house was definitely created to entertain and enjoy the outdoors,” she explained. “The way they designed the doors, they all open all the way in, so they go into the walls. So it really gives you that indoor-outdoor feel to enjoy the lifestyle here.”
There are five bedrooms and five full bathrooms, as well as a chef’s kitchen and living area that has a wow factor.
“I knew it was a spectacular property from the minute I saw it,” Estrada said, “[I thought] it was exceptional and that it was going to be fun to market, and I’d be able to sell the property.”
The home sits on 4.14 acres with a long, private drive leading to the house.

“You had expansive views throughout the property, so when you would come in through the front door, you would have a clear and uninterrupted view of the yard and the lake,” Estrada said. “The house really felt like an estate, and they had bamboo on both sides, which made it feel really private as well.”
There are five fireplaces, three gas and two wood-burning, which is something you don’t often find in Central Florida homes.

“It’s nice when it’s cool weather, so it was perfect for the winter last week,” Estrada said with a laugh. “You don’t use it all the time, but it’s still nice in the evening when it’s cool to sit around the fireplace and enjoy.”
When the weather is warmer, there’s a lakeside cabana, a two-story dock with a boat lift on Lake Pickett, an outdoor kitchen, and a resort-inspired pool by Atlas Pools modeled after The Cove at Atlantis.
“I think [the sellers] just really liked the pool there,” she said.

Estrada said the buyers liked the entertainment areas, the layout, and the privacy. “I think it was love at first sight. They had a great agent that helped them,” she added.
The buyers, Noll Realty LLC, were represented by Thomas Marchetto with Optima Real Estate.
Not much needs to be done to the house.
“The sellers took really great care of it, and the way they designed the property, it was kind of a timeless design,” Estrada said. “They didn’t make any choices that would become dated. They made some great choices with everything that they did.”
